fit pregnancy

I was able to stay fit through my pregnancy, which made birth and recovery much smoother than I could've ever imagined... And now I'm showing women exactly how I did it...

Hey there, mama, I'm Sydney!

I'm a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, lover of Jesus, wife, health nut, and mama to a baby girl!

I've been working in the health and fitness industry since 2014 and have been personally training women both online and in person full-time since 2019.

When I found out I was pregnant unexpectedly in September of '22, I knew I wasn't going to let all of the progress I'd made in the gym go to waste!

I was very blessed to have phenomenal coaches who poured into me my entire pregnancy, and because of this...

-- I had minimal body fat gain during my pregnancy.
-- My diastasis recti (the splitting of the abdominal muscles) was very minimal.
-- I didn't lose much muscle mass or strength.
-- I had energy and was able to do all the things I wanted during pregnancy and postpartum.
-- I pushed that baby out REAL quick. 😂
-- My core and pelvic area recovered quickly after I gave birth.
-- I was able to get back to working out just 2 weeks after giving birth!

Now my mission is to help other women do the exact same thing!

fitness during pregnancy

Does this sound like you?

  • You already currently exercise (or have exercise experience) and don't want to lose your hard-earned results during pregnancy?
  • You want to maintain a healthy body weight while pregnant?
  • You want to keep diastasis recti (splitting of the abdominal muscles) to a minimal?
  • You want to set yourself up for a smoother delivery and recovery post-baby?
  • You have no clue what exercise during pregnancy should look like, but you want to do it safely and effectively during the most crucial 9+ months of your life?

If this sounds like you, I'm so excited to help!

I personally was able to have a fit, healthy pregnancy... where I felt capable and strong...

....... And so can you!

Imagine this...

What would your pregnancy be like if you….

  • Knew exactly which pregnancy exercises you needed to do each day and you were confident that they were actually supporting your pregnancy, not working against it
  • Were able to support your growing belly by keeping a strong abdomen and back while pregnant (because, trust me, that lower back takes a LOAD while pregnant. 😂)
  • Were able to maintain a healthy weight during pregnancy without feeling like you gained more than you wanted
  • Felt like a “fit mama” all your pregnancy, while still being confident in your clothes
  • Had energy to do the things you needed, regardless of the demands pregnancy puts on your body
  • Were able to prepare your body for a quicker and smoother baby delivery
  • Could set yourself up to heal much more quickly postpartum and minimize the damage done to your tummy

Well, mama… Let me show you how!

Who is this program for?

Women who are pregnant (or plan to be pregnant) and have previous exercise experience!

This program is specifically for women who currently exercise or have recent exercise experience. (It is not recommended to start a new form of exercise during pregnancy if you've been inactive for some time.)

Women who want to be capable during pregnancy...

You don't have to feel constantly weak, lethargic or unable to do for yourself while you're pregnant. You CAN have a capable pregnancy by keeping your body healthy and strong. (I felt my absolute BEST during my pregnancy on the days I worked out!)

Who is this program NOT for?

Women who have not exercised in 6+ months.

It's not advised to start an exercise plan while pregnant if you haven't already been exercising leading up to your pregnancy. If this is you, I recommend daily walks to get you moving during your pregnancy!

Frequently Asked Questions:

I'm already several months into my pregnancy... Is it too late to start the program?

Nope! You can purchase and begin Fit Pregnancy Academy at any point during your pregnancy. (And you'll still receive the entire 40 weeks worth of workouts, which you could utilize in a future pregnancy!)

Which month to start exercise during pregnancy?

When you become pregnant, you only want to continue doing what you had already done leading up to your pregnancy. The pregnancy workouts in Fit Pregnancy Academy do involve elevating the heart rate and strength training, so if that wasn't something you did beforehand, we advise you to go on daily walks during this pregnancy instead.

Does being fit help with pregnancy?

100%! Hundreds of women have reported that they felt much more energized and capable during pregnancies where they exercised, verses other pregnancies where they did not exercise. Being fit will also make your delivery much smoother and you will recover postpartum much more easily.

Can you get toned while pregnant?

You can absolutely continue toning during pregnancy! Even as you gain a healthy amount of body fat while pregnant, by following the weightlifting in Fit Pregnancy Academy, you can absolutely continue seeing new muscle definition!

Can you lose weight while pregnant if you exercise?

You don't want to lose weight while you're pregnant. It's both healthy and necessary to gain some weight to support your growing baby.

What exercises should be avoided during pregnancy?

The main exercises to avoid during pregnancy are movements that involve crunching of the core (like sit-ups and toes-to-bar) as well as any movements where you would hit your bump. This involves movements like olympic weightlifting snatches and cleans, as well as things like burpees and push-ups to the floor. (We include the perfect alternatives to these movements in Fit Pregnancy Academy so you can continue growing in strength and fitness without harming yourself or your baby!)
